The Temple High School girls track team won its second consecutive District 12-6A Championship by posting a nine-point victory over Harker Heights High School Thursday evening at Panther Stadium in Hewitt. The Tem-Cats successfully defended their district title from last year and will advance student-athletes to next week’s Area Meet in seven running events and had nine student-athletes qualify for the Area Meet in field events. The Temple High School boys track team also qualified several athletes for the Area Meet.
